Current Projects

The Great Meter Replacement project was initially brought before the Metro Council on May 18, 2020 and received final approval from the Metro Council at the June 15, 2020 meeting. Moore County Utility Department will begin replacing all the meter within our system on October 5, 2020 and will continue until all meters on our system are replaced. We will be installing Zenner Meters and have entered a contract with Government Capitol for the funding of the project. 

Over the course of the next several months, MUD maintenence will be marking meters, cleaning out meter boxes, and making repairs to meter boxes. Completing this maintence will help to reduce the non-revenue water usage. 

Metro Moore County Utilities is currently working towards having one billing cycle. By the end of Summer 2020, all MUD bills will be due on the 15th of each month. Customers will still have approximately 10 days after the bill is received to pay without service interruption. Any payment received after the 25^th of the month will incur a 10% penalty.
